All eligible divisions will be counted toward NCNCA BAR/BAT Point Series rankings. Held under USA Cycling permit #2013-970. USAC license required. One-day license available for Cat 5 men and Cat 4 women for additional fee. Annual license also available day of race. Registration fee includes $3 USAC insurance surcharge and $1 NCNCA surcharge, and on-line registration fee. Day of race registration is $35. Second race of the day is $10. Register online at www.voo.st or day of at 400 W Fir Ave Clovis, CA 93611 from 6:45am until 15 minutes before each race. All riders must complete a new USAC form each week. 17 and under must have waiver signed on site by parent or guardian. No refunds! Races held rain or shine. Extreme weather may cancel and credit for another Back of Nowhere Event will be given to all registered participants if the unlikely were to happen. Schedule is subject to change and some fields may be combined if less than 10 riders show. Cat 5 race will be mentored by NCNCA’s finest; riders must attend prerace meeting and strongly encouraged to attend post-race meeting.
Big W Sprint Champion in all categories except Junior and Cat 5. Trophy awarded according to rules in Technical Manual.
*Junior 9 – 16 race is restricted to Cat 4/5 only and riders age 9 must turn 10 by 12/31/2013. Racing is co-ed but will be picked for awards based on 4 year age brackets. Youth Race for riders age 9 who do not turn 10 by 12/31/2013. Kiddie kilo: ages 8 and under only.
**35/45+ 1/2/3 will race together for prizes and series points but will be picked separately for USAC results and BAR/BAT points.
Directions: 168 to Clovis. Exit Herndon westbound ½ mile. Right on Villa. Left on Fir. Follow signs to parking. Bikes only may access Fir Ave via Peach Ave.
